There are two types of thinking.

Vertical thinking. Which is focused on being right. Memory. Right or wrong. Reproducing already created knowledge.
Lateral thinking. Focused on coming up with new ideas. Looking at things in a different way. Generation, innovation and creativity.

If you went to school, you were mostly taught vertical thinking. Memorisation. Reproduction of already created information. A very useful way of thinking but an incomplete way.

Now we have AI, an incredible tool that can now vertical think better than any human can. It has in one swoop, made what school gave us very obviously insufficient. We can see this in grads not getting hired. (And other ways)

Thinking, something I’ve been obsessed with my whole life is now the most important and underdeveloped part of humanity.
